The Advanced Powered Industrial Lift Truck (Train The Trainer) course equips your safety professionals to continually update your company's compliance with OSHA forklift operator training requirements which were effective December 1, 1999.  Employees who operate powered trucks, whether gas or electric, must be trained before they are assigned to operate a vehicle. The training takes into account the student's prior knowledge, the specific workplace hazards and the types of vehicles involved. This course includes both general training and truck-specific hands-on practice. The student must pass a written test and exhibit the ability to effectively and safely operate the truck or device to which they will be assigned.
